Last Saturday, I went shopping with my mother at the new shopping mall downtown. The mall has five floors with hundreds of stores selling everything from clothes to electronics. We arrived at ten in the morning to avoid the afternoon crowds.
First, we visited a bookstore on the second floor. I bought two novels and a magazine about science. Then my mother tried on several dresses in a clothing store. She finally chose a blue one that looked elegant on her. We also stopped by a sports shop where I found a pair of running shoes on sale. After three hours of shopping, we were tired but satisfied with our purchases.
